Harry can volunteer to tell Garte on Sylvie's feelings, leading to the Talk to Garte for Sylvie side task. Sylvie takes a romantic interest with Garte, however due to the bad timing of the corpse from The Hanged Man case and Harry's drunken ruckus, she left the Whirling-in-Rags. Despite this, she willingly cooperates with any questions he asks her regarding The Hanged Man case. This is primarily due to the ruckus that Harry had caused, in addition to the graphic suicide jokes that he made during his drunken bender. When Harry first requests to contact her over the radio, Sylvie has clear resentment in her voice when she speaks to him. Thinking that Harry didn't need it, she threw it into the trash. It is then revealed that she had been the one to recover Harry's ledger when he had tried to stuff it down the toilet and caused it to clog. For what it's worth, Planescape's combat is terrible and there's a large chunk of the latter half of the game where it shows up frequently, so if that's going to be a deterrent you might want to start with Disco. In fact, she was scared of The Union and did not want to get into trouble as 'squealing' to the cops was heavily frowned upon. I enjoyed Planescape much more than Disco Elysium but I'd say start with the game that interests you more. Sylvie then clarifies that she was not the one to notify the RCM, as she thought that The Union was already aware of the situation.

At first, it was thought that Garte had contributed to her leaving by asking for her number, however, she denies it and if an Empathy check is passed, confesses that due to Harry's two-day drunken catastrophe, she left to get away from him as he was the worst client she had ever seen.
